Better late than never

I feel like this is the story of my life. Here are the happenings from the Pages in the past two months.

-Aubrey had her end of the year preschool party. They learned jokes to tell in front of the parents. She is constentely telling jokes. Isacc thinks that they are the funniest things. They usually go something like this. "What did the crab say to the hair." Before you have a chance to answer she says,"I'll pinch you"

-Jeremy had his 30th birthday. I can't believe that we are getting that old. We had a surprise birthday party that him Mom came to from Maryland. He had no idea that she was even in town. You should have seen the look on his face.

-Jeremy studied, slept and ate occasionally and then studied more.

-We had our Mom's in town for a total of 3 weeks. While Jeremy was studying for the comprehensive exams we played.

-Said goodbye to our friends who graduated and took jobs. Good Luck!
-We took a week to recover from company

-Went to Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, and St. George.

Here is the first batch of pictures.
This is what Isaac thought about the party. He threw himself down on the ground and cried. Isn't it great to be 2.

I like Aubrey's joke; too cute. Do you find that Isaac's Terrible Twos are more terrible than Aubrey's were? Maybe it's just the combo of having and older sibling to fight with and being 2, but we're about at our wit's end with Calvin.

Sounds like you have had a crazy whirlwind of a summer so far. I hope things are getting easier. By the way, how is Isaac about going to sleep at night? Any better?

Life really gets crazy in the summer, especially with little kids. Hope things are starting to settle down.

Happy 30th Jeremy! All our husbands have joined the club, good thing the wives have a few more years before we join.

Amie, Scot will be in Ft. Collins next week for a job interview. He'll have about a half a day to drive around and check out the city. We're hoping you can give us some recommendations on neighborhoods to check out. The office he'd be working at is at the north end of the city, up near Terry Lake. Any suggestions?
